Social and Environmental Assessment and Management Guidance on how to ensure the SES requirements related to assessment and management are applied in the context of Moderate or High Risk projects. | Guidance on how to determine when SES Standard 5 on Displacement and Resettlement is relevant and, when required, how to assess potential displacement and resettlement impacts, the key elements of a Resettlement Action Plan or Livelihood Action Plan, and guidance on resettlement related compensation. | Guidance on how to determine when SES Standard 6 on Indigenous Peoples is relevant and, when required, how to include indigenous peoples issues in the assessment process, what an Indigenous Peoples Plan should include, and when/how to ensure free, prior and informed consent (FPIC). |
